Outside Play

Mama and Lilly.....comparing the babies in their bellies! (I think I am winning)

Here are a few pictures of all of us playing outside this weekend! Lilly loves to ride her new bike and hang out in her new camping chair, that has room for her baby brother!

RACERS.......START YOUR ENGINES!!!

The last race of the season was this weekend. Unfortunately, things didn't go very well for the Thompson Crew. After scraping things together last minute, the engine started to leak water and the temperature gauge stopped working so Ray couldn't even finish the race. He got to run some practice laps in the heat race, so at least we all got to see him out there for a minute. Also, after the National Anthem the racers took the little kids for a ride on the back of the car. Lilly got in the driver seat of the car with her Ray Ray and they raced around the track like naturals. She absolutely loved it! The HUGE grin on her face never left the whole night. So, even though Ray didn't get to race the BIG race at least he got to take the munchkin out..............because in the end our kids are ALL that matter! I did get some cute pictures after we washed it.................

So now we wait until next year, when it all begins again!

Slapping out some practice laps!

Here is a video clip of Ray working on some practice laps at his race last time. He is racing his last race of the season this weekend here in Elko and is so excited. They are letting the drivers take kids for a ride around the track while they sit on the back of the car, so Ray is going to take Lilly in the drivers seat! She is super stoked, she absolutely loves the race car. Trying to pry her out of it while he works on it is like pulling teeth. It should be a GREAT time so I will take lots of pictures and video! WISH HIM LUCK!!

Time for Growth

Ray and I decided that our little family, as perfect as it is, was ready for some growth. With his old age (HA HA HA) and my dream of a big family it was time for us to expand things a little. Now here we sit awaiting the new addition of the Thompson crew. Ray is like a little kid in a candy shop, he has already decided that the baby is a Daddy's boy. Yes, I said it, BOY! Rafe Anthony will be joining us around January 12, 2010.Lilly is adjusting very nicely so far. She is absolutely in love with babies, which is nice. She talks to her baby brother, gives him hugs and kisses all the time. Although, if you ask her her baby brother is located inside her belly, not mine. She has us feel her baby kick all the time. We are trying to get her excited about the whole idea, and for a two-year old she is doing pretty well understanding it all. As for me, well............I get to shop! I love it! I have the crib and bedding all put together. Ray is working on a old family dresser, sanding it down and tightening it up. Then I will stain it to match the crib, it is going to be so perfect. I am looking forward to the baby shower October 17th and all the wonderful things to come.

WOW, a new adventure for the Thompson crew and we all couldn't be happier!

The Beginning of a Lifetime!

Halloween 2008 was our first date and we have been inseparable ever since. It seems as if life brings you little wonders when you aren't expecting them. I found my best friend in Ray, someone I could talk to and trust with my darkest fears. Displaying your weaknesses in life is one of the hardest things to do but being able to trust someone with them is even harder. Ray instantly took on my hardships and has been holding my hand ever since. It seems to me that when you find your soul in the eyes of someone else, you should hold on and NEVER let them go. So, that's what I did. May 15, 2009 I gave my heart and soul to the one man that brings meaning and understanding to not only my life but to my daughter's as well.
